HikeAtlas is designed to keep your fitness information private and under your control.

Health data

With your permission, HikeAtlas reads workouts, workout routes, heart rate, active energy, distance, and related workout information from Apple Health. This information is used only to display your activity history and details inside the app.

Location

HikeAtlas requests your current location only when you tap the GPS arrow. Your location is used to center the map and is not sent to the developer.

Storage and sharing

Workout information and the app's cache remain on your device. HikeAtlas does not require an account, operate an analytics service, upload your Health data to a developer-controlled server, sell personal information, or use advertising trackers.

Your control

You can review or revoke Health access at any time in the Health app or iPhone Settings. You can remove locally cached information by deleting HikeAtlas.
